I am in the market for a 2001-2002 A6 2.7T and would like to purchase an extended warranty. When reading the fine print of most extended warranties the list of items not covered is staggering.

Does anyone have a recommendation or experience with particular extended programs? Is it possible to get a vehicle 'Certified' by Audi after purchasing the car if the car is still covered by the original 4 year warranty?

I've used the warranty a couple of times. After one year it has paid back about 50% of it's cost.

I have an extended warranty through autowarrantybroker.com. I've run 4 or 5 separate things through them and they've paid everything without question or delay.
