Default Failed inspection because sensors couldn't be read....
oxygen sensor, cat. sensor, etc... were "not ready" and therefore could not pass the inspection.

has anyone experienced this?

also codes were clear just recently. does the car need to be driven for a while first?

Default yep...the car has to have a certain amount of miles / ignition on off before it will be ready to be
scanned...

Readiness codes. Drive car steady state 50 mph for 5 min to set readiness.

Default ...or use Vag Com to set Readiness Code.
see below for Vag Com. Everytime you erase codes you have to reset readiness code.

Default every time you "clear the codes" there is nothing for inspection to read..
you have to give the system something...drive for an hour or so.
