Default Finicky control module.... Those with the "auto lock" feature, ever notice-----> (long)

It seems very particular about the order of things. For example, it only helps you Once! Say you go get the car from the back of the lot and leave the wifey waiting at the theater door. If you happen to get to 6 mph (or whatever the speed is)and the doors lock; and then you unlock them to let her in, they won't lock again after you pull away. Like I helped you once, that's it. Then, since you decided to unlock them yourself the first time, it won't unlock them when you take the key out later. Also, I noticed that when it "does" unlock the doors at key removal time, (assuming you've kept your hands to yourself this time) it puts them the way it found them before you hit 6 mph. If you only hit the remote once, and only unlock the driver door, get in, lock at 6, then remove key on arrival, only the driver door is unlocked. Hit it twice, unlock all, get in, lock at 6, remove key, all unlock. I just think its funny. I expected, "hit 6, all lock, all the time, anytime," and "remove key, all unlock, anytime, everytime." Oh well, just didn't know if anyone else noticed the same things....

They were too smart for their own good and not thinking about the US with carjackings. That could be a serious liability.
-------------------------------------

I did notice this, but I like the way they work.

Default I agree, it's the right way to do it.

I would not have enabled this mode if I couldn't easily defeat the auto-unlock feature. I can see your point about auto-locking perhaps making sense as a repetitive feature, but I like the consistency of the implemented mode.
Richard
