I've been meaning to mount one on the passenger side of the "hump" in the footwell.

Default In the trunk.........

I keep a 3 lb ABC in the trunk in the drivers side cubby hole. Fits almost perfect, it just lays in there, it's out of the way and doesn't look wierd. These cars are too clean on the inside to mess with mounting one. Since I'm an off-roader, I keep one in every vehicle.

Default I see your point about "neatness," which is very dear to me also, but if I get whacked

hard in the rear, and can't open the trunk, I'm screwed. I'm thinking a 5 (A)BC somewhere inside the passenger area so it is (hopefully) always accessable.

Default Same here, luckily my immediate family and friends know that my service .38 is close by if they>

light up. I figure if the fire is small, I'll try to minimize the damage, otherwise, that's what I pay insurance for.

Default I kept a larger one when I was commuting for work 75 mi. a day...

on the interstates. In case me or or someone else needed help.

Cig smoke for me can trigger a coronary artery spasm which further can trigger a heart attack....

Nothing against the smokers, but it can kill me.
