Default Sure, sure, just as long as you don't have any mountains in your state, or any appreciable snow
And crews out constantly salting the roads. In my state (Washington) they only use sand on the roads, and sometimes spray de-icer.

We have had snow twice in the past week... Id say I am in a heavy winter area. Doin Fine with A/S
