Flushing of A6 Tiptronic Transmission

Is there any reason to flush or not to to flush a Tiptronic tranny, versus to just dropping the pan, replacing the ATF filter, and then adding new Audi ATF?
I'm thinking of draing the old, replacing with a generic Pentosin, running the car for about 500 miles, and then draining again, dropping the pan and cleaning, and then replacing the filter and new Audi G52.
Any thoughts pro or con?

IIRC, the total fluid in the original fill in the tranny is pushing 9 liters and you get about 6 liters out with an overnight drain.
I'd say your method is an excellent way to get more out of the system, although I don't know about using generic Pentosin.
I don't like the concept of flushing since you need to break lines and push fluid through the system differently than it gets pushed during normal operation (by the tranny hydraulic pump).
I'm sure that there is a totally kosher way to flush, but doing a two stage drain and replace will get nearly 90% of the fluid turned over with very low risk of anything going wrong.
My 2 cents.

to drop the pan, on the second time).
I did the math, you end up replacing about 80% of the fluid that way, IIRC.
