Follow-up-"Mysterious pieces of filer material"
I changed the cabin filter last week and the pieces of filter junk are diminishing. I still don't understand why the OEM filter I put in six months ago looks like it did duty in the Sahara. I don't live in a high-sand area, and this filter was far dirtier than the one I replaced.
Oh well. I'll keep closer tabs on it in the future.
