Took the front apart and yes it skipped time. I am stage 3 with an IPT TC and VB (for background). After the IPT mods, downshifts were very hard. I cured this by raising idle by about 70 rpms with lemmi, but not until after breaking an RS4 motor mount, replaced with 034motorsport density line mounts (great products, by the way). During the time I had a broken mount, the motor must have moved just enough to break the timing cover where the bipipe mounts. One of these small pieces of timing cover found its way into the belt and caused it to skip time ever so slightly. Fortunately for me, valve and piston did not meet, but if I ever break another motor mount, I plan on immediately inspecting the timing covers. Timing belt/covers are much easier than rebuilds, so I can't complain too much, but I wanted to let everyone know that it is a possibility. Also, thanks to 4Driver4, for the sound advice.
