The Spider was at least a "hot" - looking GT, you could pretend it was an Alfa.

Default yeah, owning a British Ford is definitely the way to learn to work on cars. Many opportunities. :)

The combination of "Ford," "English" and "Lucas"
is formidable.

Default Was a '56 Buick Super...given to me in '66 -

as a sophomore at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Hits: Power(could make it back to home in Bronx in 2 1/2 hrs from downtown Boston), room galore, good trunk for beer and midnite apartment moves, radio that could pull in all the NYC AM rock stations when cruising Comm Ave.
Misses: Passenger side floorboard that was rusting out(could see street underneath), rear underbody hooks that secured shock absorbers also rusting out (and causing eventual separation requiring local shop to weld steel plates to chassis in order to resecure said shock towers) - finding a parking spot every day on/around the apartment @499 Huntington Ave. for something the size of the USS enterprise
