Default Front End Bottoming Out

Does anyone have a problem with their front end (bottome of bumper) hitting the ground when you go over speed bumps or pavement with an arch (entering a hilly area from flat pavement). My 2.7 seems to hit all of the time. And I try to be cautious.

Yes... speed humps are the worst. Do you take them at 5mph?

Default yes. alll sport suspension versions should have similar problem...

the front spoiler is just very low to the ground..

not much you can do about it but be careful and take angles when going into/out of driveways...

Default You need to upgrade to non-Sport suspension. No problem over speed bumps.....

... You hit the bump, wallow over it, and go through two or three more see-saw reverberations as the suspension re-settles itself for the next 100 meters down the road.

Appreciate what you've got.

Default you mean "downgrade" right? even though it does raise the suspension... hmmm

maybe you could call it an up-grade (subtle distinction imo)

Default Raise up that ghetto suspension!

My wife scraped the front end of the S6 on the hills in SF...but those are extreme...this shouldn't happen with normal hills...I go very slowly over speed bumps...
I did scrape in front of the front wheel in the 4.2 twice in one week...once in a drainage dip on the side of the road and again on a driveway lip...not since though in 1 1/2 years.

Default Try an 'upgrade' to new S6 suspension...

...almost never bottom out, despite low clearance.

I don't think they are progressive rate springs, but they don't seem to compress much.
