Default I vote with you, Steve. This lawsuit is 100% stupid. The Firestone/Explorer issue (more)

supposedly killed people. The real problem here is with our lousy, sulphur filled gasoline.

This statement is defensible, but why does the legal system channel all the financial benefit to the lawyers? (OK, maybe the "victims" get $10 or a certificate good for a Happy Meal...)

OK. Thank you very much attorneys, for making big bucks out of our misfortune, for pretending to help the "victims", and for driving up the price of Audi cars (which won't affect forum members for a while), and parts (which will, once our warrantys are over or we have the misfortune to damage something), and third-party warrantys, and ...

Default they didn't fix your sensors?

They fixed mine. How else would the money be better spent?

It is the "check and balance" of product liability - I am not a lawyer

Default Mother was right!

Have you noticed that you get about 120mi from the first 1/4 tank, then only 90mi from the next 1/4, and 70mi from the third 1/4 (very approximately)?

Get better gas mileage by filling up when the tank is half full? Like your mother always told you.

Default It is the fear of this type of thing that keeps SOME companies in line,

not the goal of superior customer service. When was the last time GE got sued like this?

Agreed, but I wish there were another way.

p.s. Lawyers drive BMWs :-)
(at least that is the common perception).
