A fuel mileage post for other newbies here..My own mileage included
Ok, so I have had the car for 2 weeks now.
Need I say that I love the car. Didnt realize how much I missed my Audi until I regularly driving this one.
I made an Excel sheet for my older car to regularly calculate MPG after every fuel fillup.
So far here is my fuel mileage:
2002 Audi A6 3.0 Q..37.5 K miles, Still running on Original plugs etc.
- City: 19.46 MPG, Normal Driving (also includes 30 miles by Audi tech, I bet they were gunning it)
- Highway: 23.73 MPG , "Actual" 72.195 MPH Average, no stops (296 mile trip one way)
Hope this helps someone..

My wife's 2.8 consistently gets 20.5 to 21.5 mpg for mixed driving.
On the highway loaded w/4 people and luggage with the cruise at 72 mph I get 24 to 25 mpg. When it is just me on the hwy. I have seen 26 mpg. Being in upstate NY, everywhere you drive there are hills, which no doubt reduces the mileage.
