Default FYI Certified pre-owned no longer covers Tie-Rods.......

I was told, since 2 months ago it is considered a wear and tear part, and is no longer covered, ouch!

Default Garbage.

I signed a contract at the time of purchase which states they are covered and they can take me to court if they dare.

Check the coverages in your original contract. They can't change stuff like that post hoc.

Default thats what I though but I was told otherwise the cpo states that.....

all wear and tear parts are not covered, Not sure if it list individual parts. I will check it out to see if it specifies the Tie-Rods though.

Default Hmmm...I don't think they can get away with changing the terms like that.

If they could, what's to stop them from deciding the engine block or the transmission is a normal wear and tear part? I would think that the terms of the contract are set at the time you entered into the contract. If they were still covering them at that time, I think you'd have an argument that they can't change it now. I might call around a bit to other Audi dealers and see if this one is just hosing you. Or call Audi USA and see what they say. Those things aren't cheap! Worth a little legwork.

By that logic, the entire car is composed of wear and tear parts.

I agree. I don't think that seems right.

Default Isn't that just plain common sense? Changing terms after the contract is signed is not legal. Did

you talk to a different dealer?
