Default That's what I've been saying, but it may be more than "the first few months" of V8 exclusivity.

Could be closer to a full year is what I've heard.

Default I assume that they are ready to suffer a real shortfall of A6 sales.

If they only offer the V8, then A6 sales will fall by at least 50%. Do they think it will boost A4 and A8 sales?

Default Go figure...They're applying a reverse introduction that's probably aimed at creating an initial

...upscale aura around the model to wet the appetite of the masses (a.k.a. those of us in the under $55k range). I also hear that turbos are out, to be replaced by a 3.2 litre 265-hp V6. The engine range to be offered is a 3.0 and 3.2 V6, along with the 4.2 V8---That's what I've heard anyway.

Default You can get Sattelite radio in the '04, new colors (DG for example).

Nothing else that I know of.

Default I agree...a ton of A6 leases will have expired

and most coming off those leases won't want to spend the extra $5K on a 4.2, even if 4.2 production could meet it which is doubtful. This is a bad planning that could cost them many return leasors and kill A6 volume in the first couple quarters of the new model.
