Gaaaagh! I hate it when I think I'm in tip mode and bump it into neutral instead.

Cruising to work at 70mph, there's hardly any need for tiptronic. I only use Tip when going on a drive (i.e. not commuting or getting groceries). I hardly ever use S, but then again I'm a conservative driver.

When entering a crossing in tip mode it shifts down to first so smoothly I forget I'm in tip-mode.
Then I start to drive away and hear the revs get highher and higher in first gear and wondering why the thing doesen't shift up...
I think "tip on demand" via the steering wheel would increase my will to use tiptronic. I'm just too lazy to move the gearlever..

I never do that. Once I hit neutral I chop the throttle, curse, then drop it back into gear.
If I have the throttle buried in the carpet I never shift it manually... I wait and let the computer find redline for me.
