Gaaaagh! I hate it when I think I'm in tip mode and bump it into neutral instead.

Default Tip ~30%; Full Auto ~90%; S for the rest...

Cruising to work at 70mph, there's hardly any need for tiptronic. I only use Tip when going on a drive (i.e. not commuting or getting groceries). I hardly ever use S, but then again I'm a conservative driver.

Default I never use it. The car is smarter than me about what gear to be in.

If I wanted to shift, I'd buy a stick shift.

Default I do the opposite: forget I'm in tip mode and drive away..

When entering a crossing in tip mode it shifts down to first so smoothly I forget I'm in tip-mode.

Then I start to drive away and hear the revs get highher and higher in first gear and wondering why the thing doesen't shift up...

I think "tip on demand" via the steering wheel would increase my will to use tiptronic. I'm just too lazy to move the gearlever..

When I feel like 'playing'... ~25% of the time.

Default ouchie

I never do that. Once I hit neutral I chop the throttle, curse, then drop it back into gear.

If I have the throttle buried in the carpet I never shift it manually... I wait and let the computer find redline for me.

That's why I programmed the tip to shift to second on its own... less likely to overshoot redline.
