Have been driving a TT the last two winters, but there hasn't been all that much snow. TT has ESP and sticks to snow covered road as well as my old front wheel drive car did on wet roads... I will be driving a A6 this winter... MY 2000, no ESP,, how much of a difference will there be going from a TT with ESP and the heavier A6 without ESP?
I am assuming longer stopping distances and need to corner slower,, anything else?

The RS-A tires are rated higher than the potenza's, so I was going to try them.
The TT has always had snows in winter & sports in summer.. am I making a huge mistake trying to run RS-A's year round?

... fishtail the car. I used to joke that RWD cars fishtail, and FWD cars plow (understeer) in the snow, but my Audi can do both!
I also have a 2000 without ESP. It can be fun if you are careful. I drove an Audi 90Q for 10 years and it had the same setup. I used to enjoy the "Rally Car" driving method, barrelling around a corner in full, four-wheel drift, with fountains of snow flying out behind all four wheels.
