Just looked at your pixs...are you using Ronal LZ with the Yokos? If so, what size and are you pleased with the ride and handling?

Thanks. I have read some on the Pilots...they do look good. However, I am concerned about road noise and ride comfort too...the Northern California roads suck and I do use the car to transpot clients ocassionally. I'll look into the pilots more....but boy are they pricey!
Your wheels look great!

just switched to the Yokohama's. A lot of the Pirelli tires seem to have a reputation for being noisy, but I have not found the Yoko's to be that much quieter. Handling doesn't seem to be that much different with the Yoko's, but I have not driven them much except on the expressway. I just took them off for the winter, so I won't get to try them on any real twisties until next spring. Tires need to break in for 500+ miles or so before you can really evaluate them and I generally don't push mine up near the limits. I am using 235/45-17 on those wheels.

Good question....
I'm looking for a 17"/ 18" wheel (undecided on whether the 18" looks & rides too aggressively) that looks like the LZ. I would also like to have a wider tire foot print without sacrificing the ride..... like a 255/45/17 or 18 but I'm uncertain about the fitments for the A6.
What's the max width tire and wheel the will fit without looking funny or rubbing on fenders or other internal pieces? I know part of the answer is in the offset...but frankly I haven't been able to get my arms around that concept yet. Also, may upgrade brakes in the future (brembo or stoptech) how does that factor into the equation?
Lastly, I like the look of a more "deep dish" (I think that's the term I've seen) like the BBS you see on BMWs. Does that style of wheels (like Ronal RT5 deep lip for example)
work well in our cars?
Simple question...highly confused response I'm afraid!
