It is very interesting, I checked the FAQ section for the auto door and window/sunroof locking which was based on 2000 models and my soft coding was 15887 vs. 15885 but by adding the appropiate value, in this case 96, to my code it worked just fine.
So then I thought what the hell, this works, I will recode the transmission to the infamous 00032. Guess what? it does not let me do it! I guess the 03 models will not accept this code? (My soft code is 01002). Oh well, any other good tricks out there???

BTW, make sure you don't have the car running. This may cause it to reject the code. Use the left-most setting of the key which results in a response from the control module.
See DRHaller's early post on the trial-and-error process:<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/145099.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/145099.phtml</a</li></ul>

I will try it for the hell of it but having considered the facts here it seems that by putting my 03 in sport mode I am getting the benefits of the 32 code while still having the ability to go back to standard shifting. I like the sport shifting when I am driving aggressively but often switch back. I seems I am already getting the best of both worlds but I will try the 32 code anyway.
