Default H&R Coilovers vs. Eibach Coilovers

I want to get a set of coilovers for my 2001 A6 2.7t. I have narrowed it down to the H&R's and the Eibach Pro-Street coilovers. Anybody have experience with these on an A6? My car has the stock sport package and I am looking for a firmer ride, but nothing to teeth chattering. This is mainly a daily commuter car and will see little track time.

The Eibach coilovers are a new application for the A6...be the guinea pig.

Default I'm running H&R Coilovers and I'm impressed with their versatility. I like the way

they ride over a variety of road conditions. Taken them to the track and they performed fine there, as well. Firm but not harsh is how I would describe the ride.

Sorry, couldn't tell you about Eibach Coilovers.

Default How do you like your DTS and the Tanoga shifter?

I am looking at both. My Miltek exhaust is in and should be installed next week.

Both are great; but, I have to say the DTS made a larger improvement on my car. How about a pic or yours?

Default For now it is a stock A6

I just got it a few weeks ago. I had an A4 with a K04 upgrade, Miltek cat back, H&R coilovers and 18" BBS CH's. Just sold it, so I am now looking at all the mods for the A6. I already have the Miltek, waiting for the chip and looking for the coilover setup and wheels. Will most likely do the DTS. I will post some pics in a couple of weeks when this stuff it done.

Default DTS a must

I also like the H&R coilovers. I did have a rubbing problem after they were installed, but that is getting worked out.

I've never heard of Eibach coilovers for this car.

I think the DTS is a must. It firms up the drivetrain and solves the slopping first to second shifting problem that everybody seems to have.
