Default I think it's oriented properly...

I can see the h-sport sticker right-side up when looking under the rear bumper. because of support structure, I don't think it'd go in any other way.

Default the side which is hitting is on the OUTSIDE of the droplink...

But it's only hitting because the droplink came off. Because it seems the sways are pulling towards the center of the car.

I don't really trust the first installer anymore after going there twice for pretty shabby results. In fairness, it appears to be fundamentally a fitment issue with the H-sport part, but they could have said something from the outset and their actions have caused damage to the endlinks.

Today I had a different shop take a look and they said they'd have to heat and bend to bar to fit it as instructions call for (with the sways bolted on the inside of the droplink). what they did as a temporary fix was mount the sway on the outside of the end/drop link and move the horizontal position of the link outwards towards the wheel (to my eye and mind this looks more than just a bit awkward in terms of stresses, but at least there's no contact happening):

What a distraction this whole process has become!

I truly appreciate all the help and any pictures you guys can send of your own setups so I can check their work! Please keep the advice coming!

H-sport sway instructions

Default the droplink is clearly installed on the wrong side of the swaybar. >

compare it to the other side.
That is why it is hitting.
The droplinks should be outside the swaybar on both sides.
You have one outside (proper) and this one inside (wrong and hitting the shock).
Very easy to fix, just unbolt it and move it.
Fixed.
