Ahhhh, gooey summer Ziebart. :-)
I had more of that <a href="http://www.ziebart.com/careRust.htm">crap</a> on me as a kid than any other staining substance. It just seemed to pour out of our '66 LeMans and onto...me!

Relax, all in fun... except you should really not bother with rust proofing an
already rust proofed vehicle... I have an 84 Audi and it is outside all the time... In Maine 4 years, California 2, Washington DC 3, Washington state the rest and NO RUST!

Aside from metal surgery, you can spray a rust inhibitor paint (not anti-rust oil)..
that will work in areas where you are not too concerned with appearance. Keep in mind that once the paint is bubbled on the outside, you will continue the rust process unless you seal the outside too... best of luck...
