I'm going to try this on my wife's old Blazer.

Default umm - it is not anywhere near the same stuff I don't think

why do you want to clay the truck? Just get the buffer out and buy some meguirers finish restorer, then wax it with a acylic based wax

I think what makes clay feel like clay is the particle size and fractal geometry. There's some white clay at HL that looks exactly like $10/oz stuff. If it ends up scratching the truck, no big loss. Neat experiment.

Not much to do here in the summer.

Why not spend the $12 or so for the real stuff?

why don't you buy the real stuff, and spend that time claying one of your Audi's
