i noticed one in the classifieds for a C6 and it looks pretty nice on a black body. my valence has a couple gouges which i can't really blend so they don't stand out, and i just ordered for fun, a piece of the 3M di-noc carbon stick on vinyl from ECS and am tempted to wrap my valence in it. seeing as i also recently had cutouts made for my new exhaust tips, even though they're really good, the carbon wrap might really make the look. i know the valence is a separate piece on my car (2000), does it unscrew or are there clips so i can remove it and do a clean install?

unless i beat you to it! unfortunately i think the piece i bought (1' x 4') might not be long enough - or maybe it is, i never measured it. either way, i think it could look very cool

Quite. Is it a CF wrap or done in a full CF composite?

I actually got the 3m dinoc.I had a guy install it on the front bottom part of the spoiler of my new A4.1) It protects it from small rocks etc.2) It looks like real carbon fiber. If you spray a clear coat it will look like the real thing.
I have pics of the process. It was done in 45 minutes.
Also the rear valance is easy to take off.Just unscrew it and dismantle it.Its not rocket science. Then, with a sharp exacto knive, cut the pieces according to your measurements.
A lot of local guys ,that do the Tinting do vinyl. So they know how to cut it and adhere for a custome look.ECS tuning has the sheets for 27 dollars,1foot by 10 feet,or something like that.Trust me it will look good.
