Thank's for the information. It was helpful. I own an A8, had an S6 before and liked it, thinking about a S6 and the Avant is the only S6 available. The extra space will also come in useful at times. S8 is a bit too expensive. Now have to see what the dealer has available.

And, you can't go wrong with the S6. You can, however, go over budget.

when I consider the price of a car. True, it will cost me just short of $67k, but that includes nearly $7k in taxes, some of which are legitimate and some of which are unjust, offensive, retaliatory fines for having the audacity to have the ability to purchase an expensive car that gets better gas mileage than most SUVs which outsell cars each year and have no tax penalty for the "excess" fuel they use (nor do they have a tax for costing more than $38k). You could buy a $120k G-wagon (prior to this year, it now costs $75-80k) and not pay one damn cent in luxury tax or gas-guzzler tax...but some ******* who buys a $60k wagon has to fork over $800 in luxury tax and $2300 in gas-guzzler tax. Horse****, I say. Apply the law evenly or don't apply it, dammit!
