Has anyone ever had their Oil level warning come on during a long trip?...

Default Has anyone ever had their Oil level warning come on during a long trip?...
The yellow one with that says MIN. Mine has come on twice during long trips when the oil gets to about 225 degrees and after checking oil level goes out. Oil level was good, in the middle of the crosshatch. Some of our S4 bretheren have reported this, but I haven't seen a reason for it. Any ideas?

Faulty oil level sensor. Had this go out on my 2.7t at about 30K mi. Easy to replace.
