Has anyone found a way to wire brake sensor to shut off if pads dont have built in sensor?

Has anyone found a way to wire brake sensor to shut off if pads dont have built in sensor?

Just short the wires together. If you can't do that in a reversable manner, probably best to skip it

Default keep the cable that went to the old brake pads

cut it off and splice the ends together then plug it in. The sensor is simply a loop of wire that is worn through at a particular depth in the pad. When it wears through the circuit is broken and it triggers the brake pad light.
