Default Has anyone had the Vaccum Hose recall done on their A6..
Can someone explain what was wrong with the vaccum hose to begin with and what benefits are to replace it with a new one..

Not sure about the models..I called the dealer with my VIN..he was able to look it up...

It triggered the CEL on my 99. I was glad to clear it.

Default I thought there was a risk of cracking...
performance issues, emissions issues (the reason for the recall most likely)...

Yes, i did jsut a few months ago. I was having problems with my engine light coming on. They replaced it and it has not come on since. It has also changed the idel. I would recommend it if you have similar problems.
