There's a post here earlier that mentions AoA warning that if you order too early, the car may come through as a 2001 but NOT with all the changes for 2001. Is that something they would do?? Any validity to that "warning"? Thanks.

Yes. The dealership should be able to confirm equipment within 2 weeks of placing order

Hi All,

I've been reading these threads with great interest as I've decided to purchase one of these fine autos. What a great forum!! Neil, I noticed from the codes sheet that they do not list the Andora Red as an option any longer. Too bad, as this is the color I was leaning towards. Given the choice between color or ESP, I'd have to go with the ESP. I'd REALLY like to know if anyone can confirm that this and tip buttons on the steering wheel are going to make it onto the 2001's, and when one could place an order. I'm going to my local dealer today and am going to try to find out as much as possible. I'll let everyone know what I find out, if anything. But Neil, thanks a bunch for posting those codes! It's ammo to take to the dealer. Another dealer told me this morning they know nothing about the 2001's yet. Guess they haven't tried ;-)

The dealership can't order a 2001 'til late May/early June - the rest is just getting in the line
