Has anyone seen (or own) a royal blue interior?

My lease on my '99 A6 is expiring and I'm looking to buy a 2001 A6 -- maybe in silver. The brochure says royal blue leather is available, but the brochure doesn't even show a picture of the color. Two local dealers say they never order a blue interior, and don't have any (used or otherwise) to see. They hint the blue is too "bright" and I might get tired of it. Any truth to that?
I saw a post that for 2001 it's only available as solid blue. Is it even available in the U.S.? If anyone has it or has seen it, I'd appreciate your comments.
BTW, our dealers say AOA won't let them order an Audi for European delivery. Is that really true?
Thanks.

Here's a photo of the Vanilla/Royal Blue as shown in the 1999 brochure. For '01, it's available with Light Silver Metallic, Ming Blue, and Nemo Blue (4.2 only).

I love the look, the feel, the wear-ability, and general mood the all blue interior exhibits. It is not too bright at all. In fact most people think that my interior is black. I love it in the winter and I love it in the summer.
It is just dark enough to hide spots etc. . . and light enough to show the artful lines of the A6 interior. I was looking for something that would give me a compromise in the interior. Melange and the other light colors are fantastic and makes the interior feel huge and airy. The onyx interior is wonderful and makes the interior feel somewhat more intimate and cockpit like.
The Royal is light enough to capture the airy feeling and dark enough to evoke the cockpit feel. Plus the subtle changes in the blues throughout the interior are great. I have yet to see a picture that captures the true color, look, or feel of the Royal Blue interior.
Virtually everyone who has been a guest in my A6 has complimented the color without any form of inquiry from me regarding their opinion of the color. You mentioned the salesperson suggested you may tire of the color. I have found myself enjoying the color more as time has gone on. My experience is based on eleven months of almost daily driving.
Theoretically if it is still available in Europe you could push the dealer to make a call about special order. My dealer has stated that if you have the $$$$ they will use virtually any material in any color you desire. Please don't do zebra stripes ;-). However, since this is/was a stock item $$$$ should not even come into play.
I reiterate, don't allow pictures for your basis of how the color looks in person. All the pic's make the blue look really, really bright. It's not even close.

I would have ordered royal blue leather, instead of vanilla leather, if Audi had offered royal blue for 2001. By the way, Europeans are offered royal blue leather for 2001 A6 models. It's puzzling to me that Audi of America doesn't offer options and features which, I'd guess, would be popular in the USA and Canada.
