Yesss, now ssssstop it was posted a few days ago ;-). p.s. I still think an aggressive 4.2 owner
(via mod)will be able to match or beat the S6 Avant (granted the avant is a wonderful choice)in terms of performance and keep $10-$15K on the asset side of the b/s.

I am still on the S6 waiting list. I rolled the dice thinking it might come in sedan form, with greater hp/tq, and a the new tranny (cvt). I know, that was quite a roll.

I am amazed by Audi's marketing politics
It seems to me that 9 out of 10 would be S6 owners in the USA wants a sedan, meanwhile Audi is shoving the Avant down your throat!
On the other hand I, in South Africa wanted an S6 Avant and they will only supply me a sedan!!!
With regards to the 4.2, keep on dreaming. Unless the 4.2 is re-chipped, new cam, new inlet vales, new exhaust manifold and all new suspension, you will not better the performance of the S6
