Hey guys. I bought some OEM HID's to clean up and put on my 2.8 quattro that I just fixed some deer damage on. The used lights I bought have ripped "outer boots". They are the ones that seal the front of the headlight to the fender and the hood.

If you know what I'm talking about, do you know where to buy new seals at? I've searched to no avail. Someone HAS to know.

If the replacement headlights came from a V6 the parts you are looking for are 4B0-941-191/192-A $46.50 each.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I don't think I'll buy new ones then.

I'll probably just hit the salvage yard a few times and see if I can get a used one it good shape for $3.

LOL. My luck in trying to find parts for A6 in salvage yards is not that good. Plus nowadays, they don't let you walk into the yard to pull parts on your own... your locale might be different.

I have pretty good luck. I just got a hood, fender, front bumper, core support, and airbox from a 99' allroad for under $200. It was all the right color with no damage besides scratches. Someone had messed up the headlights though. they broke them trying to get the Xenon projectors out....
