Headliner Light / Map Light Oddity

Tonight, after picking up my car from the dealer (malfunction indicator light and had them recode the remote control to 16204).
Driving home (head lights on), I decide to turn the map light on. Well, much to my surprise, nothing. I tried both lights, both visor lights, and the front dome light. None would light up.
I figured the coding messed with something. I pulled in the garage, shut the car off, turned it back on and everything is now fine.
This was just plain weird!
Anyone else see this happening?

I had this happen sporadically over the first 2,000 miles. I thought that it would be one of those electrical problems that they would never find. Fortunately, they replaced some switch and all lights have been working perfectly for the last few months!

The CLM definitely has something to do with the interior lights since lights come on with unlocking, etc. When I had my CLM recoded by a friendly Audi owner down the street the interior lights kept coming on and turning off sporadically.
