unless you are renting...We also added an air conditoner vent in our garage which helps somewhat too. More in the winter months to keep it warmer.

The after-run pump ONLY operates for up to 10 minutes after the car is shut off. The system is 100% disabled when the ignition is on.
Further, the 225 TT's use the same after-run system and use NO thermoswitch. The TT system is set-up that if you turn the ignition on and then off the pump will run for 10 minutes and then shut off.
Based on your logic all 225 TT's should have battery problems.

....when the temp falls below the thermoswitch temp OR 10 minutes after the car has been turned off; whichever is first.
The system is ONLY active for 10 minutes immeditaley after the car was shut off. It is not going to activate in the middle of the afternoon sitting in the garage.
