I started my car and went to work, after I went to my friends house. The car started perfect when I left from home. I stayed at my friends house for a bit and went I went to leave it wouldn't start. I was holding the key and than it gave a sign of starting but died.. It had smoke coming from the back and a bad smell of fuel.
I thought it was the spark plugs, those havent been changed. I went and get NGK Iridium plugs and gave it a shot aaaand no luck. Than I removed a coil and spark plug gave it a start and engine kinda started. I put the plug and coil back in and started. I drove it around and it went all good... Until I gave it another test. I turned it off tried to start it and nope.. this time it was done. I got it towed home and than I let it cool down and crap and gave it a shot and turned on but not so well.. waited 5 minutes turned it off and now it starts perfectly fine.
I do remember a day or two ago I got fuel injector cleaner, just putting that out there. Any ideas?

I'd suspect the coolant temp sensor, and replace it post haste. Also, worth the effort to try to read the codes.
But the 'smells like gas' is pretty telling, something is telling the ECU that the engine is cold, and it's trying to meter in more fuel.
