Default the CVT transmission is a piece of junk

Seems that my fear were pretty much confirmed by the response of my mechanic: the clutch is slipping basically this is the error message:

fault #18151/P1743-clutch slip monitoring signal too large.

Anyone wants to get together with me and start a collective legal action against Audi to get the part replaced under warranty? Because i am seriously thinking to do so; included sending informations to all the consumer associations, plus to some TV stations that would love to make public issues like this.

Guys i am really pissed >_< and seems that many of you are in the same situation as me....sorry JB to hear that you had such adventure with that place

Any suggestions about what to do with my silver piece of junk on wheels? KBB value is about 9K; and a new transmission cost maybe about 7K (included labor).....

Default I would do as others have suggested, and find

a ZF certified shop and see if they will do the clutch pack change. Good luck!

I just found this information:
http://www.europeantransmissions.com/CVTAuditech.htm

I wonder if your transmission misbehaves in manual mode?
