Default HELP!!!! So my new CATS are causing the check engine light and the dealer says:
that they're too restrictive and could not clear the codes. They first said that the CATs needs to be updated with some new software and they supposedly did but the check engine light came back on shortly after. I go back today and now they're saying the cat are too restrictive.But thats BULL, since theres NO POWER loss, car pulls STRONG!!! The VAG COM reads the following:

2 Trouble codes detected?

16816 P0432 035
Main Catalyst, Bank2
Efficiency Below Threshold

AND

16806 P0422 035
Main Catalyst, Bank1
Efficiency Below Threshold

O2 sensors can also throw those.

Default are they OEM cats? and did the dealer do the swap?
if so, they need to take care of it. otherwise, I'd investigate down the O2 route.

well supposedly all 4 brand new o2 sensors, new cats OEM from dealer

Default i bought the car used from a private guy and the cats look brand new and are brand new,
whats that code I listed mean?

does it have anything to do with cats being restrictive? does that even make sense?
