Help! Went for an oil change, now CEL is on...
not sure if it is just a coincidence, but 20 miles after the oil change, the check engine light came on. The A6 still runs perfect, so I have no clue what is wrong. One funny note, the cel came on while going to dinner with the GF. She got a little annoyed because I paid more attention to what the heck happen to the car than to her : )

See if your oil fill cap is tight.
Mine was loose (after a dealer oil change :-/ )and it tripped the CEL. The VAG code when reset saw it as an excess vacume leak) Just a longshot but it could do it.
