Default Hi, I needs some windshield wiper help

After replacing the wiper linkage, which was siezed, my wipers run again however they do not park correctly or shut off immeduately.

Now when I turn off my wipers they take about 20 seconds to stop and they park in the 1:00 o'clock position. I have taken the wipers arms off and put them in the park postion when they stopped however, each time I start the car they run for a bit and park again in wrong place.

I suspect the motor, however has anyone had any luck fixing this without replacing the motor ?

Default I don't know about Audi, but on domestics there is a....

small "board" attached to the wiper that controls the relay, shut off position etc. On domestics, if your wipers sieze, the board ussually gets fried.
