Hmm.. I think I've found another way to remove the downpipes on my 4.2.

Default Hmm.. I think I've found another way to remove the downpipes on my 4.2.

Instead of ripping apart my hands trying to access the manifold-to-downpipe bolts (from above or below,) I'm thinking of removing the manifold and downpipe together. I've looked at the engine bay a few times, and I think I can pull the manifolds out the same openings that the downpipes come in through. It may be a dumb idea, but it should be less of a PITA than the other method. Any bets on whether or not I can pull it off? :P

Why do you need to remove the down pipe?
