Default RS6 (look inside for the reasons why)

The B6 S4 is a beautiful car but it blends in too much with the B6 A4s especially those with the ultra sport package. I know there is more to these two cars than looks, but if you want that timeless, beautiful and unmistakable mystique about a vehicle then the RS6 wins hands down. That car in my opinion is the best looking vehicle in Audi's lineup with performance to match. If your money stretches long enough for you to be able to afford an RS6 then by all means why not drive one. I am not certain why people are so afraid of turbos. I am on my third Audi which make use of a turbo and let me just say that from past experience, its the rest of the car falling apart that you really have to worry about.

Default Ummmm,

S4.

But mainly because I didn't have the coin for the RS6. Now I'm really happy with the S4 and less regretful I couldn't afford the RS6.

Default Re: I think it is an issue

I live at the top of one of many hills in SF. I'm thankful every day for the Tip. The paddle shifters (totally different from the clickers on other Audis) and the Sport mode are both more than enough for me.

Got a kill on a Carrera 4 (996) last night in Sport mode.

Oh yeah - get the RS6.

Default Re: Neither (not much help, I'm afraid). RS6 has turbos, B6 S4 too small in back.

I don't understand the preoccupation with turbos. I love mine. I love sitting next to 4.2's and getting that look. Come on - you know the look.

Default Re: RS6, -if money is no factor (ie- can afford to fix)

I hardly think repair costs are the limiting factor in the decision to acquire an RS6. Mine will be 100% covered by warranty when I dump it in favor of something new.

Besides - they've proven to be quite sturdy despite the exotic performance.

Default What did you post this on the RS6 forum too?

Or do these guys just regularly check up on us. If so, HELLO FELLOW A6 OWNERS. Ok maybe its not quite the same car, but obviously I would choose the car that costs neary twice as much.

Much more exclusivety, more space, more luxury, no question about it.
