rather, we released the "nipple" that fit into that recess next to the bolt. It took some prying but it releases (again, refer to nene's writeup in RS6.com).

Did my clear corners last Saturday. The left headlight was a PITA getting the 3rd bolt. Used a long T30 torx tool, but didn't have a magnet to lift it out. Squeezed my hand around parts and lifted it off without dropping it. The right headlight was much easier. Didn't bother disconnecting the headlights. Just heated the adhesive and pried it apart. Like you, I installed APC Titanium silver bulbs. I agree with you that this mod makes the front look a lot better!!!

aimed up more than the passager...I had to adjust with the verticle screws to bring them both together...Did you run into this problem???

since there are so many ways of doing it: bumper removal vs. no bumper removal, bake vs. heat gun, drilling vs. taking housing apart, etc.
I think that I would have struggled with the actual headlamp removal...not just the bolts, but maneuvering the headlamp to release the side nipple, getting the damn wiring harness off, etc.
One recommendation, make sure you have enough time and patience to do this mod. If you are feeling rushed, do it another time. Patience is an essential tool in this mod as well.
Good luck on your mod!
