The owner who had the car prior to me probably applied some rain-x. While it's a great product when the wipers are new if it's reapplied regularly, I am growing a little tired of the smearing and the haze that I now have.
I will replace the wiper blades, but was also wondering if anybody knows of a solution to clean oily haze off the windshield....
Thanks.

Having lived in Seattle / Tacoma where daily and persistant rain is a way of life, I can absolutely attest to the suckiness that is RainX.
Sure, it works great at highway speed in a light rain, where it hardly rains but once in a while.
But live where it rains all the time and you soon realize that no matter how you apply it, it is always leaving a haze on the windshield that doesnt' clear, and seems to attract more road gunk than normal.
This is especially bad at night where that haze on the window ends up blinding you from oncoming headlights.
Using a quality windshield cleaner, cleaning the windshield often, especially at every fill-up whether it needs it or not, and changing your wiper blades once (twice per year for me) per year is a far better way to go. I have yet to see any product that beats this, and I've tried them all.
