Default essentially there are three screws you have to remove, 2 are easily removed...

the third is not as easily attained. You need a torx 30 driver to remove all 3 screws, but to get to the 3rd screw you need a long extension to get to it. After removing the screws you should be able to pull out the headlight. (fyi it is easier to do it on halogen headlights than xenon, xenon's are a little more bulky). But once you remove them you can either use a heat gun, or put one headlight at a time in the oven on 350. Then pull them apart once the adhesive glue in warmed up, and then pull the amber piece out in its entirety. Then what I did was purchased a clear silicone gel and placed that along the outer lining of the headlights, and that was it. I put the headlight back in for a minute and then put it back in the car. When putting it back in I only used the top 2 screws.

You do not have to remove the bumper at all, but do allow yourself a few hours to complete this mod. It is very time consuming especially if you dont have the right tool(s). Ive done it on both my cars one with halogen and the other with xenon. Good luck.

kjb99 put you on to the best tutorial of the DIY (Do it yourself) CC mod, FWIW.
