Here are a few pics and vids on how I debadged my A6. All the standard stuff applies, do at your own risk, yada yada yada.
First I gathered up a blow drier, fishing line, goo be gone, terry cloth and a microfibre cloth. As well as my clay bar and wax.
I started by heating the emblems one at a time. My car gets so hot in the summer I could fry an egg on it so I assumed this blow drier should cause no risk as long as I could keep my hand on the paint with out it burning. Once the emblem got good and warm I wrapped fishing line around my fingers 'dental floss style" and slowly pulled it through the warm adhesive.
Here is the first video, heating and removing the number 6. The A has already been removed and you can see the residual glue.

After removing all the badges I wet the left over glue with some go be gone and wiped with a terry cloth rag. Some of it came off, but most did not. I had to resort to more heat and "thumb pressure" This technique left me with a nice size blister on my thumb but in the end it was worth it.

After all the adhesive was removed I used a clay bar to try to get a little more off, it didn't help, so I went ahead and applied my normal wax.
Here is a pic of the finished job. I can still see an out line of the emblems but that will be removed once I get my car to the detailer for its spring time buffing.

Hope this helps!
