Default The C5 A6 may be the best car Audi has ever built. Even the 2003 RS6 is in competition with the new

M5. The C5's are solid cars. I was planning on keeping mine forever.

Default I dont get the question. You mean, how many people have gone 100k without spending a dime?

I'd guess zero. Same for Toyotas.

I hve nto had my C5 that long, but I've already done a thermostat (warranty) and a CV boot (not).

My B5 S4 was pretty bulletproof at 80k, but had eaten one control arm bushing and a window regulator. Brakes of course, same as my S6.

My 84 4kq and 91 20v both went big miles - lots of repairs but no major failures - 300k on one and 216 on the other. Both long gone.

I expect the S6 to run 150k - over about 16 years. yes, I'll put money in it, but not THAT much ( unless i go crazy on the suspension).

I have never seen an engine problem or tranny problem of any kind on any of my Audis. No leaks, no failures. Just lots of minor-medium stuff to fix along the way.

Default 95K and still going strong! Scheduled Maintenance is Key! I have certainly....

spent substantial dollars tuning my car vs. maintenance. Usual wear & tear. As a previous Volvo turbo owner, I say German all the way! Drive safely.

Default 130K and running great.

Just had new controll arm and S4 TREs installed too.

Take care of the car and it will take care of you.

That is an outrageous steal for labor.... I did most myself, then got charged 400$ to do 2 arms.

I'd be dissappointed to not get 200k on any car.
