how much for CV Joints/Axles

How much do these things go for on a '99 A6 2.8 FWD? I'm clicking in the front. Need CV joints and axle? I'm a rookie.

CV Boot = $20 at ECSTuning.com and CV Joint ~ $90 at ECSTuning

That joint is for the center driveshaft, not the halfshafts.

I did a little looking and couldn't find any joints for sale. Raxles was awesome to deal with though. I would definitely recommend them.

Ditto on raxles. Have heard lots of good things about them. Decent prices too.

If it has started clicking then you will probably need a new CV joint...

if you can do it yourself following the various guides found here then I would try cleaning tyhe old joint, re-packing it with new grease and fitting a new boot. If it still noisy then a new joint will be required but you can re-use the new boot already fitted.
