How much should an alignment cost?
The Direct Tire guys told me $199, but they also said if it was lowered it would depend on who lowered it, and that an hourly charge could apply. This sounds kind of fishy to me.
If they are really doing an alignment, they should be checking everything anyway, right? I am not quite ready to rebadge the back with "Sucker" yet.... any thoughts?

Singletrack is right...........- - >
I just got a quote from my dealer yesterday..................$100 - $105 is what they said. Something about an hour to "set up the machine".

Tango- If you're in the bay area try Sever & Son's in Pleasanton- $40-$60.
The place is family-owned and they undercharge you. After my snow bank incident, I went in there to check the alignment (yeah it was wobbly), after 40mins or so of working on it, they came back, all done, and the charge was $20. I threw in another $30 because they fit me in at the last minute on Friday afternoon- 4:15pm.
As per Finman's story about the place that repairs his weekly flats- when I get the S-03's in a couple of weeks I'm getting it from S&S. They might be more expensive ($40/tire) put they've given me 3x in value/savings over the past 2 years. Also- if you buy them from through them, they rotate for free every 3000 miles.
Feliz Friday-
