How my 2k 2.7 turned into a 99 A4 2.8, the control arm story...

So I didnt let the car beat me totally... I got back under the car and did the drivers side tie rod end, upper control arms, and lower curved control arm. When I got to the straight one, nothing in 5 hours worth of work could get the end of the balljoint on the arm out of its recpetical. So I had to move to Rochester, NY for graduate school and now have it in at the local Audi dealer to install the arm (guessing 160), change the oil (79.95), and do a state inspection (21.95).
Curious thing, however, when I slow to a stop my ABS activates between 10 and 5 mph. I recently saw a post about the ABS sensor being dirty and I hope thats what it is since the really hot service girl whom I would have loved to "taken for a ride"... in my Audi ofcourse, told me that it might be a cracked sensing ring and would require replacement of the axle and would be like 500 bucks! So lets hope its a dirty sensor or a problem with ABS software which does not require parts.
All in all, this trip will cost me around 400 bucks, but hopefully, my car will drive like new again.
I dropped off an 2000 A6 2.7T Manual and drove away in a 99 A4 2.8 Tip. Talk about totally diffrent worlds! Will keep you all updated when the service manager calls me later today.

Yes, you are correct.....and there is pretty much no way it is cracked.....unless you meant to say the dealer was smoking crack!
