My dealer told me to drive the car at different speeds to break in the engine for the 1st 1000 miles. Does anyone have any advice as to how i should break in the engine for maximum performance and response?
Thanks

No full throttles until at least 500 miles. The second 500 miles can be more fun with a little more push, speed, etc as desired.

aggresive driving (i.e. punching it, fast speeds), for 1200 miles. This is so the engine can "seal" itself properly. It is in your owners manual. I read it AFTER I had put 600 miles on my 4.2, and I had been lead footing it. The theory is if you break your engine in properly it will remain tighter longer, giving you a higher cosistant hp output.
