How to tell if alternator is Denso or Bosch?

The pulleys are a tiny bit different, so it might be possible to tell by looking at the pulley (if you have something to compare it to).
You probably have the Denso.
If the reman comes with a pulley, either will fit. I ordered a Bosch, then found out that I have a Denso. I found that a pulley off an old 12v engine was a direct fit so I used that to avoid returning the alternator.

but I think what you are saying is all the reman ones use the OEM sized pulley. Is this correct? I would likely be doing a replacement DIY and would hate to get in the middle and find out the pulley won't match up to the serpentine belt drive. Thanks!

And the shaft/pulley combos are different between the two different alternators. When you get a new alternator, you need to remove and re-use the pulley from old unit. If you have a Denso and try to replace with a Bosch, the Denso pulley will bolt up to the new Bosch, but offset is wrong and the pulley sticks forward too far. For the Bosch pulley on the Denso alternator, the opposit is true.
